I hear you there, I originally had 20% around the back and redid the sides to 5% and can't see out them at night. I left the back at 20% because you can't really tell the difference when looking in, but it makes a huge difference looking out of it.

Just did it this weekend... 35% front & 20% on the back & hatch. Turned out darker than I expected it but I'm still happy with it.

You can tint your fronts. Just have to be prepared to suffer the consequences if you get caught.
I guess it also depends where you live. In CA it's illegal but I've stayed light enough that I've never been bothered. Knock on wood....

Here's mine. Extended sun visor in front, love having everything else tinted because it keeps my interior "private". Carry around my backpack with important papers and such and sometimes leave it in the car if I'm running inside, makes me feel more comfortable knowing people can't stare in and see everything. Unfortunately had to take off the front 2 tints, cops got me, but they're going back on this week. In Michigan its a fix it ticket, plus summer is coming and my windows will be down more often.

Anyone have an 06-07 Red wrx with there windows tinted? I know some windows look darker depending on the color of interior and car so I'm just trying to get a feel with how low I actually want to go with my car..I appreciate it

Got pulled over 6 weeks ago in Whitpain Township (PA) for tint. Had 20% on all 5 windows (hatchback) and nothing on the windshield. Let go with a warning.

Since then, I got my fronts redone at 35%, rears stayed 20% and had the sun visor tint strip added at 20%. Got pulled over again over the weekend just 200 yards from last time and was let go with another warning. This is getting old.

Has anyone who lives in IL had any issues with 20% back and 35 front on their hatch?

Thinking I want that and I seem to see a lot of people with lighter front windows that don't seem to draw too much attention like I'm trying to hide something.

That's what I have in NY & have had no issues. the pix I posted previously were taken the day I got it done when the tint hadn't dried yet. They've lightened up a bit. I'll get a full sun pic up for ya.

What do you expect, tint is 100% illegal in PA.

20% all around, minus front windshield. Had if for about 2 months now and haven't had any problems with the cops yet. Currently in the process of painting the fender badges black to match.
