The big strip works for me, I have my 3 series tinted the same way too. I had a full 35% windshield but it was annoying at night.

Even on the windshield?

It isn't bad. Just don't do the windshield; it's overkill. Do a light 50-70% tint and it will still cool off your cabin while providing the same UV protection.

Dang, how do you even drive at night with 2%? I usually had to roll down the windows with 5%.

Doom, your car is beautiful. I love it. even if it might be horrible in at night.

So I have a question. I'm getting some money saved up finally, and I'm starting to look for a tint place. What would be a nice tint for my car? rear windows I'm thinking 15%? I want something darker than SUV. Maybe even 10 I'll do

I want the fronts too but something lighter so I don't get stopped. would a combo like that look good on a car?

Thank guys. I really don't have any trouble as crazy as it sounds. I'm so use to it because my previous 3 cars have had the same tint so I don't know any different lol

I went with 35% all around, and I kind of wish I had gone with 20% or lower on the hatch. I am perfectly happy with the 35% on the all 4 doors, since I don't like how it looks when they're different percentages.

I'm not sure that 2% is legal anywhere.

LOL, I was starting to think the same thing. I thought my 15% all the way around was dark. I can't imagine 2%.
