Default Agile tuned AEM Fp Red STi 500ft/lbs 536whp!!

First off i want to thank everyone up at agile for all of the hard work that they put into this project, it was a long very bizarre road wont go into details but in the end it was all well worth it.

Power mods.
Agile stage 1 built short block
stock heads
helix 860cc injectors
buscher dual 255s
aps fuel rails
aeromotive FPR
ultimate racing uppipe and 38mm tial
hks Dp
Cobb catback
DMH Cutout
gruppe-s ver 2 header
ssac fmic
aem 3.5 bar map sensor
aem AIT sensor
Aquamist HFS-5
turbosmart eboost 2
AEM EMS
And the most important mod a kick A** tune by Hill!

First we tuned the car on meth and 93 octane on about 25.5, 26 psi! the results were amazing i dont have the dyno chart for this map but i belive it was

471whp and 456 ft/lbs

Now on to the good stuff we put in the Q16 and opened the cutout and tuned up the boost to right at 29psi (didnt want to push the stock sleeves to hard).
the results were amazing we finished up at...

536whp and 500ft/lbs!

Artie at agile has a video of the final pull where the bov had a little problem releasing all the added pressure and blew off a pipe. i will let him post up the video if he has time.

Thanks again to all the great people at agile,

Paul

Here are the graphs for the pump/meth and Q16 overlayed:

Pump and meth was set to 26-26.5psi with 11.8 AFR.
Q16 was setup for 28.5-29psi at 12 AFR.

As soon as we get our cable for the video camera from home, the video of the final run with the charge side IC pipe blowing off right as the run was completed will be posted. SSAC piping needs a more aggressive bead to hold boost of this level even with T-bolts at every coupler. Although, I don't think the super silky smooth powder coat was helping either. Enjoy.

The reason this car was able to make such a good WHP number is that it was only seeing about a lb to a lb and a half of boost taper at redline. I'm sure this was a result of having a well-designed external gate in the uppipe rather than having it integrated into the turbine housing where it will lead to more turbulence. With the head and cam package on Philthy's car we should be able to achieve much better numbers if we could get it to hold boost like this car. On the whole we were extremely pleased with the results on Paul's car. Hopefully he can get the car to the track before they close up for the season.

Great numbers!

People have no idea of boost. There was an idiot who posted earlier about it being impossible to do 23 psi on 91 octane...sigh but anyways

I bet that thing hauls some ass.

I want to say thank you again to Hill and the crew up there they have gone above and beyond on this build to make sure everything was done right, the motor they put together for me runs so smooth and is holding up great! I wouldnt take my car anywhere else i have been going to them for about 2 years now, and they are top notch in my book!

Paul
