I'd swap Leclerc and Ricciardo... for now at least. Leclerc will be good, but he still makes rookie mistakes. Max did the same thing. Maybe next year I'd change my mind but ya otherwise I pretty much agree.

Stroll is better than Kubica though I'd toss Grossjeans down there at the bottom tier, too.

Max is definitely a overhyped driver. Ricciardo could have done more with the same car and not be a bitch.

than don´t cry if you (Ricciardo) will never win a championship. Before that happens I see Renault leaving the F1.

I still think Ferrari should make a play for BOT.

Mercedes could then make a play for RIC.

HAM will bow out before the new engines come into play with his 7th world title.

VET should no longer be in the sport.

Ah yes. The grid for the final race of the '19 season on the worst track on the schedule.
In other words:Boring, Boring,Boring.

Pos Driver Team Time Gap
1 Hamilton Mercedes 1:34.779 131.087 mph
2 Bottas Mercedes 1:34.973 0.194
3 Verstappen Red Bull 1:35.139 0.360
4 Leclerc Ferrari 1:35.219 0.440
5 Vettel Ferrari 1:35.339 0.560
6 Albon Red Bull 1:35.682 0.903
7 Norris McLaren 1:36.436 1.657
8 Ricciardo Renault 1:36.456 1.677
9 Sainz McLaren 1:36.459 1.680
10 Hulkenberg Renault 1:36.710 1.931
11 Perez Racing Point 1:37.055
12 Gasly Toro Rosso 1:37.089
13 Stroll Racing Point 1:37.103
14 Kvyat Toro Rosso 1:37.141
15 Magnussen Haas 1:37.254
16 Grosjean Haas 1:38.051
17 Giovinazzi Alfa Romeo 1:38.114
18 Raikkonen Alfa Romeo 1:38.383
19 Russell Williams 1:38.717
20 Kubica Williams 1:39.236

Lewis's first pole since Germany.
Bottas gets an engine change so he starts farther back
Vettel just had another kid so his head is most likely not in to it.
Max has the only shot of beating Lewis.

yeah, Ferrari ****ed it up, again
and Hülkenberg ended his last race like a mirror of his career
and Hamilton is still the best driver in the field
2020 should be a piece of cake for Hamilton, another easy win.

Often the coverage just sucks. Last lap battles for positions and instead of showing the Sainz/Ricciardo or Perez/Norris battles they had to show Lewis' last lap of nothingness. There was actual on-track passing in F1 and they chose not to show it .

This . . . I was yelling at the TV wanting to see car to car what I had to watch on the drivers lineup on the side the the screen. Whatever . . . Cheap local racing is much more entertaining at this point.

Zandvoort is a garbage track. Hopefully they are making big enough changes that it makes for decent racing but I am super doubtful.

If you haven't seen a race on it before here's an onboard from Max (before changes that are currently underway):

It may not be a perfect track but, F1 doesn't and won't have those anytime soon with these cars.

I like the idea of old time tracks coming back as opposed to Something like in Korea. At least there is a base of some support.

Co-worker mentioned that Binotto called Hamilton to congratulate him on the championship. Apparently the first time anyone from Ferrari has ever called Hamilton and congratulated him. And of course that creates rumors of Hamilton to Ferrari in 2021.

I posted this a week or so ago no another forum:

Apparently Toto missed the Brazilian GP to stay in London and discuss the future of Mercedes

Maybe Mercedes does go back to being a supplier instead of a works team.

Hamilton and Wolff’s contracts with the team expire at the end of next year. Rumor that Liberty wants Toto to run F1.

Hamilton added Wolff’s decision will play a role in determining his own future at the team. “I’m waiting also to see where he is, where his head is at.

“The sport could also be in a good place with someone like him running it. But I don’t know if that’s more of a fun experience as opposed to in a team and winning. But again, that’s down to him.”

Agreed 1000%

I say pull Abu Dhabi altogether from the line up.... And replace it with this one.

Sure it is owned by Lance Stroll's dad, but it is time to mix it up for the drivers...
