Default building a clone, will it work?

so, i have a chance to pick up a RHD v2 STi RA while i'm in germany (for a couple of years) what i want to do is drive it as my regular car for a while. and when i get ready to move back to the states i plan on completely pulling the car appart. engine and tranny, diff, wiring harnesses and full interior and RHD... everything. pretty much biulding a clone into a doner body back in the states.

it seems to me there would be less headaches than doing a swap and a merged harness

not really as you have to cut and weld the fire wall. the RHD holes aren't there .. and, you still have to merge the back half of the car
it also may be more expensive to ship it than to buy a good clip stateside

If you're going to be in Germany, why on earth get a RHD car? Get a proper LHD car.
