Default GSC S1 Camshaft issue..Help!

Hi,

Just bought some new S1 camshafts. Issue is 1 out of 3 rotate with ease. My right exhaust camshaft has some resistance. You can rotate the right exhaust camshaft when the bridge and caps are not torqued. As soon as you torque the bridge it starts to show some resistance while the right intake still rotates. I also notice that the thrust also has some resistance too on the right exhaust. I have torqued in sequence as the tech manual states. I also did a clearance check with palstigauge on all four camshafts and it seems like they are all within .002. I tried to scotch bright the bore, caps, bridge and behind the bridge for the thrust but nothing is working. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas?

They are brand new though. Should I contact GSC? Has anyone had issues with camshafts not coming in true from factory?

Default Fixed

So, what I did is torqued the caps to the FSM sequence then loosened up a couple screws to where the camshaft had movement and re-torqued the screws. And fixed!..the camshaft had good movement!

Checked stock camshafts as well had same issue….
