Default 2015 OB- Neglected Maintenance - Recovery?

Just learned that my MiL's 2015 OB, purchased new, and now with 84,400 miles, has only had periodic oil changes (and new tires, at least once). No major maintenance performed.
Wondering what are the most critical maintenance items she should do ASAP?
Here is my short list:
- coolant change
- brake fluid change
- transmission fluid drain and flush

What are your thoughts on:
1. urgency for each?
2. other items, including the timing belt & water pump?

Thanks in advance!

If it has a timing belt, do a full kit (belt, tensioner, pullies, waterpump). Timing belt is miles AND time limited.

You have most covered.

You did not mention engine displacement. A 2.5 is an FB and the 3.6 will be an EZ. Niether of those two engine series has timing belt. The FB water pump is external, the EZ is behind the chain cover and a real PIA. Replace if they start leaking - something I rarely saw for either engine.

You need a 60,000 mile service - look in the owners manual for particulars. DO NOT use a transmission flush machine on either CVT transmission - the TR580 (FB engine) and the TR690HT (EZ engine) use different fluids and niether of those two fluids are compatible with old red Dexron type fluid or other manufacturers fluids. Just do a drain and fill. CVT does not get as dirty as old clutch pack transmissions so that will be fine. Use the correct Subaru fluid for the transmission in the car - NO aftermarket fluids. CVT fluid ain't cheap.

Sorry, it is the 2.5l Is the 2015 OB a traditional AT, or CVT?

In general, I'm thinking that the biggest risk is not doing the coolant flush/exchange, as it is over twice the recommended time and mileage. I know with newer (2000+) Toyotas, the likelihood of head gasket failure is directly related to whether the coolant was changed per schedule.

On a positive note, glad to find out there is no timing belt, it is a timing chain. Yea!

Thanks for the responses.

Forget EVERYTHING you know about older Subaru. You have and FB25 timing chain engine with a TR580 CVT transmission. FB engines are not prone to head gasket failures but earlier engines (before 2015) were prone to oil consumption issues and oil leaks at the chain cover.

Yes, a coolant flush and fill is due - blue Super Coolant.
A drain and fill wouldn't hurt the CVT use ONLY Subaru CVTF-II (green)
Other items replace plugs, air and cabin filters, oil and filters, front and rear diff gear oil, and the previuosly mention induction/top engine treatment.
