Prove an opinion wrong...... I hate impossible tasks, but here goes.

GC era hands down. Culminating with the looks of the 22B. Looks good in its standard form. Looks great as a wide body. Muscular stance and a modern(ish) classic.

I thought long and hard about this one - (5 mins) but looks too much like the 97-98 era gtr... if they only put a hood scoop up top..

I agree that this is the best looking STI of all time. But it's a super low production version of a car.

The overall best looking generation, that's a different story I think. I like the 2014's the best as an overall generation.

The GV/GRs look good but the first gen coupe is the best.

I like the first gen best. There aren't many automakers that can pull off a 2-door & 4-door with the same body. Let alone one that looks great either style.

I completely agree with OP Foxxx, sadly it looks like the redesign for 2022 will be stiff, bland, and characterless. I miss the widebody stance and flair over the wheels.

VA STI with the high wing definitely looks good.

The previous gen hatch was also cool, but my knee kept hitting the steering column during heel and toe, did not buy one. I really wanted that car to work.

Close to 100% agreement with most people in this thread, I really miss my V5 STi coupe.
However, I have never owned a GF, still kinda think they're my vote.

People debate objective facts on this site, let alone opinions on what body style is best.

I'm certain I was a little buzzipooed when I started this thread.

BUT

Just for fun is right. We can all appreciate the beauty in these cars - external or performance wise
