Default Oil leak on top of engine

I picked up my very first Subaru, an 08 impreza outback sport 2.5 SOHC with right at 100k on the clock. Got a steal of a deal on the thing for $2800. Overall amazing shape with good service history. I bought this thing knowing it was leaking oil (head gaskets presumably) but now that I got the intake off and now the entire engine out I feel like there is something else leaking on top of the block aside from the heads simply due to the amount of oil that pooled on top. Looking at it now nothing seems to jump out to me as the culprit since it has likely been leaking for a while and having this much oil on top covering everthing just leads me to belive something along with the heads is the culprit. Is there any common parts on top known to leak on these engines. I would like to just go ahead and replace everything I can while doing all the gaskets to avoid reinstalling a still leaking engine. Thanks.

Oil pressure switch on top front of right engine case half. The main oil galleys are cast into the top of the case halves and head. They could be leaking at case halves mating, either head gasket or porous casting.
You really should have cleaned the engine then see if you could have pinpointed the oil leak with engine running before removing and beginning to disassemble - right now you are just "best guessing".

If you haven't cleaned or disturbed the oil on top of the engine a picture of the top of engine might help - sometimes there is an obvious pattern an experienced eye can see.
