Default I went ahead and did it. I am a recruiter!

Unemployment sucks. Unemployment at Christmas sucks more, so after talking it over, looking at numbers and commitments and getting some words of advice from recruiters here, I bit the bullet and started the job yesterday.

So the question is, can I use OT to advertise jobs? I've seen it done rarely here and want to follow in the same path. I dont want to spam the board but at the same time if there are jobs available why not give you guys a better chance to get them?

Give me some feedback on what you think is acceptable.

I don't see why not. I mean, you're not really selling anything. If anything, I'll create an official OT jobs thread so that it's not all over the place.

Edit: There's your answer above.

I would let it slide in OT for 10% of your commission though...

Hmmm 10%.

An official jobs thread would be good as I'll be covering all of the US, not just local jobs.

West Michigan? Is Hermann Miller or Steelcase hiring designers yet or is it still the "former" furniture design capital of the USA?

I could see an OT jobs thread. Just one. Let all the seekers post what they do and where they're looking, and the HR people post what's available.

That sucks. They started downsizing their design departments just a few months before I graduated from school in GR.

And if anyone named "monster" or "careerbuilder" registers, just ban them.

No different than vending...recruiters would need to pay vendor fees or clear it with Nick.

What about people that just happen to work for a company that is hiring and have no personal gain aside from some help on their already outrageous workload?

PS: We need a draftsman/designer.
