Even if he gives you the discs? That's just burning the images onto the CD. Any update on a location? Also, check out these shots I thought they were amazing especially the last one. http://www.azht.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7136

Those are pretty good, i love the last one! Who took them, where was that at?
Still looking for a location, I may go drive around downtown later today to find a good spot.
I dont give out RAWs becuase then im just giving my work away for free, last time I gave someone the RAW files from a shoot they were up on the internet and he was claiming them to be his shots I like to get credit for what i do.

understandable. The guy who posted them is the guy who took them his name is on the photo. I don't know him personally but a friend is on that forum and saw the WRX so he gave me the link. I'll have him find out where they were taken at.

What are you going to do watermark everyone's pictures? I thought you were doing this for free for your portfolio anyhow, plus people were giving you money for stuff.

Yes it is for my portfolio, yes i am going to watermark the pictures, I would like to get credit for my work when someone shows it. The pictuers are free, the money everyone is pitching in is for renting some extra lenses and things. If people want to throw in some extra money to show apreciation im not going to complain, but im not trying to make a ton of money on this. I dont think all this is unreasonable, if someone else thinks it is maybe they can jump in.

im not watermarking them all in the middle of the picture, just my signature in the corner like in every other shot i have posted here.
If that is still a problem for you then im sorry.
If you want free RAW pics of your car with no one elses signature in them feel free to take your own pictures of your own car with your own equipment.

yeah he is talking about the 50mm 1.8 I have that one its about $80 and IS a great lens for portraits and things, use it all the time. Only its not wide enough for most car shots, especially on a digital camera where everything is multiplied 1.6 (for a canon) from film. Right now i have the 10-22 reserved for renting on sat. i wanted to use the 16-35. If you wanna donate a lens to use for the night thats cool too haha. What is your tripod setup like, if it will hold my camera and a 3lb lens steady then itll save 15 bucks or so off of renting.
and the 24-70 is one of the best lenses canon makes, its the one i really want and would buy if i had the money

Hey. Well I donít understand what your problem is The_traut is nice enough to take good quality pics for almost nothing all he ask for is lunch 10-15 ppl are going if not more. Thatís like what 25cents from everyone. Would you like it if you did something that you were really proud of and someone passed it off as there own? No. So you gota understand where heís coming from. This is not just a hobby for him. He wants to make a career out of this

( Just my 2 cents )
