Default EJ205 swap - P0365 and P1308

03 WRX body. Was running fine on USDM ECU. Added a JDM ECU to my ej205 swap that had the USDM harness. Installed both iWire AVCS kits. Threw a P0365 code constantly. Occasional p1308. Changed oil, no difference. Changed the passenger side cam sensor. P0365 came on at startup. It cleared on light throttle constant at 35 mph. Gave a little gas and it started flashing the CEL. Then constant after a spirited drive. Then it cleared for 20 seconds going downhill around 3k rpm. Stopped to turn around and idle dropped low, and P1308 came on. No 1308 before that. Thoughts for troubleshooting?

I have relooked at.all my wiring and connectors and everything looks good.

Is there an oil screen somewhere that can get dirty?

I read some unclear British post about a ground wire for an ECU pin?

I swapped the cam position sensor first, 22056AA091. No major change. Swapped the Oil Control Valve assembly, 10921AA002, and bank 1 started to respond.

There aren't enough old school subie techs left to answer these questions. It makes me sad. There is a ton of info on 205 to 207 swaps around everywhere but it's hard to judge what's legit.

Definitely a lot of different "truths" out there. Those part numbers work. Had to have shipped from Dubai... LOL
