Hi MPV314 - everything works as far as steering wheel controls. I have the usb adapter but havent installed it, yet so I can't confirm that USB ports in center console works. I'll try to do it one of these days and post up the result.

Please keep in mind that I have a 2015. I hear 2016 + HK isn't the same; i think 2016 has an extra module or something but don't quote me on that.

My recommendation is to hit up support. They will ask for photos of the stock headunit. They are very good making sure they have all that wires you'll need. You just gotta make sure to give them all the information (the more the better).

If anyone has an older 8.0 head unit with wifi/bluetooth and static issues, try disabling the wifi. Since these units share 2.4ghz and bluetooth on the same chip. I ordered the Comfast wu725b dongle since some others on the XDA forums had good luck with it. In the mean time, my calls have improved and no static with the music paused.

Everything works with no issues. Loving this unit. It's probably one of the best mods I've ever done to this car.
Welp, looks like I'll be picking up the same unit then. Are they ever on sale at all? Just wondering.

So for non-HK models is this plug & play?

Just installed their 2016 WRX version on my car and it is definitely worth it. Customer service was super helpful and quick to respond.

2016 WRX Base model, no nav, no HK.

Everything was packaged really well and the wires were all neatly packed together and arranged. 100% plug and play, literally could not be easier to install. This was my first time doing a HU install and this was really not too bad.

Initial impressions are good. Light years faster than stock, bluetooth, GPS, nav, and steering wheel controls (once programmed) all worked. I got the version with Android Auto and it is nice! Still have to toy around with it for a bit to customize but so far very happy!

Edit: Also, arrived stupidly quickly. Ordered it Tuesday and it was here Friday. Shipped from Las Vegas.
