This is why I bought a 9-2x. Subaru just can't quite get the styling right... This looks like a cross between a Taurus and a Acura TL. Gross.

Although, the back end looks nice.

I think it may look better as a wagon . Ford can pull that front end off in the euro Focus RS for sure .

It looks like a legacy, but honestly... If they put STI trim on it (wheel flares, a little lower.. not sure about a wing.. ) it would be a DAMMNNN sexy car

Woohoo! We can have a whole new "We hate the (potential) new ImprezCivic body style" thread now.

It only took 3 years for the round of furor over the last change to die down.

If history serves as an example, it's only another 6 or 8 more years before we can look whistfully back at the "classic" lines of the 2008 Impreza.

One thing I like about this concept is that it doesn't look big, even if it actually is big

I'm a big fan of the MY10/11 Legacy's. I like the current Impreza body style, but I'll welcome this concept as well. Need moar big arches!

what they need to do is mix 04-07. lower it. make it wider and the front facia much more agressive. have the rear look more how it used to be in 04 make it dual exhaust and put one nasty interior in it. thats just for the 4 door. im pretty sure a couple years back someone made a coupe version that was grey/silver with an sti badge and wing wich looked amazing. if they could make that into production it would be siiiiiiiick

It's also interesting that they are revealing this concept now... The Impreza was released in 1993, maybe we'll get a special edition in 2013.

Just looks like a Lexus IS to me, which is no surprise considering Subaru's involvement with Toyota as of late.

*yawn* i'd rather have a 2011, or a GD.

blah, blah, blah, looks like blah, blah, blah, with blah, blah, blah, and arches, blah, blah, blah, looks like cross pollination with blah, blah, blah never satisfied, blah blah blah...

Face it, a lot of companies' cars will look like other cars, if they want to stay in business. This will never change. And neither will the bitching about it.
I love my GC and appreciate all other imprezas. Even the bugeye, imo.

lol, front is ok and since it's a concept, it'll probably get toned down a little bit for a cleaner look. The rear though, looks like the front of a compact SUV haha. Can't wait for more info on the powerplant.

its a beautiful design. but for an impreza, it has no appeal to me. Maybe as an entry level car or something. But if i saw it on the road, it wouldnt catch my eye. Anyways. I love the design, hate that its an Impreza. Nothing about says performance. I see WAY to much lexus
I like lexus for being lexus. I dont want to see lexus in my subaru. (past lexus owner)
