I like the overall design of the car... looks WIDE! However, I'm not so thrilled about the taillights and headlights.

Would be better if it was an AWD 2.5L turbo, and winglesss!

I'm assuming the standard BRZ would have the N/A 200hp, then the STi version would have the "almost" 300hp turbo'd setup... Whatever that might be.

I also don't think the STi version would be coming out anytime soon, just the regular BRZ from what I've read.

A 2500lb 200 hp would be fun but a 300hp would be Amamazing. Either way I think it looks beautiful. I miss a coupe option in the subi line up.

this should be AWD and boosted with no spoiler. This does look awfully familiar to the G35.

junk article.

rendering looks like a senior high project
-and-
where and why would Subaru use a 2.0l I didn't think they even had one in production any more, at least in states.

Exactly. Its deffinitely a sharp looking car but nowhere near as fast as any year sti which blows it for me. Also no awd. I would give up awd for another 50-100hp over the sti. The performance doesnt match its looks which makes me believe they should just introduce it as a toyota not subaru.

They are pushing to go back to 2.0 in the future for the sti.

quadturbowrxgtr-s they use a 2.0l in the 2012 impreza...

Looks great I am excited that the weight is down, could be a really fun car! But alas, in the NW it wouldn't be a car for me.

I wouldn't get the first production model of it, maybe a few years down the road. Looks like it could be fun though.

this is not even close to the G35 or the 370Z. much smaller, much lighter, much cheaper.

was never meant to match up against the STi, why would Subaru make two identical cars?

It doesn't have AWD and isn't boosted with goobs of power because:

"Every so often in this business, you drive a car that lets you know in the first hundred yards or so that it's special -- that it's somehow greater than the sum of the numbers on its spec chart. The new Subaru BRZ is one of those cars. It's not the fastest, the most powerful, nor even the sexiest two-door coupe in the business. But if you love driving, you're going to love this Subaru."

I figured you could use psychic powers for the doors. Mirrors are a little different lol. Hate it when they make concept cars with small nonsensical parts.

200hp? The ONLY saving grace is a 2500lb curb weight. But I HIGHLY doubt it will come out anywhere near 2500. I am betting on easily 2800
