Default 2in. lift?

My friend said hes been looking around for some shocks and springs that would give him a 2" lift on his 2003 outback sport. he found some by a company called scorpion that makes them. Has anyone heard of these?
hes a pretty agressive driver (to put it lightly ) and will be off road quite a bit (river rafting guide in PA).
my initial recomendation was some sti shocks and springs but i dont know if thats really the best set up.
if someone wanted something that would give max clearance and inproved handeling in off road applications, what yould you recomend?

after somemore research i have found that the forester shocks should add a 2in lift. does the forester have any stiffer aftermarket shocks?

scorpion is a brand that is used a lot over in Europe. Some of their products have made it here though.

I know some Outback people have had success with the Scorpion lift springs.
