Default 02 ts and 03 ts same?

I own a 2003 2.5ts wagon. Is the engine from a 2002 2.5ts and the engine from a 2003 2.5ts the same. If it is then I would be able to put engine modifications that fit the 2000-01 rs on my car wouldn't I?

Thats a weird comparison your asking about your car to the year newer and than drop back about parts for the 00-01... Why not just ask if parts for the 00-01 fit your car in the first place

and yes depending on the part alot will work

Get year specific mods. That takes the guesswork out of it. Intake of the 01's could be MAF based, yours is not...

1993 - 1999: MAF Based (different amounts of vacuum lines)
2000-2002: MAP Based w/o Intake Temp Sensor
2003-2004: MAP Based w/ Intake Temp Sensor
2005: MAF Based Unique Intake tract
2006-2007: MAF Based, intake tract similar to 05, but with a few variations

Check into the FAQ Section for things like this, it has been covered numerous times.
