Looks good. Just put a VG shark fin on the woman's new Grand Cherokee. Pricey, but I thought the quality was there to justify it.

You find all the good stuff definitely going to have me debating this since it would be purely aesthetic, I don't use the radio or anything

Definitely better than the OEM antenna (IMO).

Hard to believe this is the same car as the cell phone pics from earlier. It's amazing what a real camera/lens and a few hours of editing can do! I took exactly 100 shots and each of the shots above is a composite of 5-10 images (multiple polarizations).

If it was an off the shelf item I would agree but since they're custom painting it to match the OEM paint I think it's actually quite a good deal. It definitely seems like a nice product.

Even if you do use the radio it is aesthetic because it does not improve radio reception at all.

AQ is my local shop and next to a brewery I frequent haha. I can take some pictures of the exhaust when I am back in town to talk radiators with them . I am sure they would kindly respond to an email question for some specs though, great shop!

I have only heard it once on an STI that had stock UEL headers & the AQ downpipe. It was deep and sounded similar to your Greddy or an SPT catback, but I think PearlRex's comparison will be better since you are catless and have EL headers.

Huge fan of the shark fin, great pics and install notes as usual!!! Def adding it to the list despite rarely performing cosmetic mods, the RC antenna bugs me haha...

Sounds good. Thanks! I did send them a rather lengthy e-mail two days ago but I haven't gotten a response.

I also have done very few cosmetic mods, but the ones I have done I like. IMO I'm making it look how it should have looked from the factory.

Xluben the antenna looks great, as well as the photos (as usual)! I gotta say the stock rims look really good with the drop from the RCE blacks. I know you have had them on a while now but im just now noticing.

Sorry if that came off the wrong way. I appreciate you going out of your way to take those photos and videos for me. I just don't like other cars in this thread, because I always end up getting PM's about things I don't even have.

Thanks! I do really like the look of the stock rims. Especially with spacer, but I sold those unfortunately. I wish there was an aftermarket wheel that looked like these, but was 9" or 9.5" wide, +35 to +40 offset, and weighed 18-20lbs or less. Oh, and cost $1000-1500 for a set. Is that too much to ask? Haha.

it's cool, I didn'teven think about that. His car even looks similar to yours too lol. Did the video turn out ok that I posted? I've never used photobucket for videos before. I feel kinda weird posting it on YouTube being that it's not my car. If you were able to watch it then I don't think I'll re-post it.

Yeah, I'm almost sure I would have gotten questions about that. I did not get to see it. I think what you posted is perfect, just put it in the exhaust thread and I'll watch it later. Thanks.

Here are some before and after editing from my last set. The top image is a single photo, straight out of camera. The second one is after adjustment in RAW, then using Photoshop to combine multiple copies of the image with different polarizations, and finally a little bit of further tweaking in Photoshop.

That's true. I just keep hoping winter will be over, haha.

I'm not sure which photo(s) to use. Probably a couple of them from the last set I posted. I'll try to pick two and update it.

Yeah here in Rochester, flurries today, nothing big, I'm fine with that because I'm FWD this winter, last 3 winters I was AWD and next winter I'm going to be back AWDing with the new '13

VG shark fin look great! And I am a big fan of the car without the hood scoop! very clean looking.

I do have a question about an item quite a ways back. With the Defi Racer gauges can you remove the outer bezel with the red arrow? Is that what you did?

Thank you man!

Thanks! Yeah, it's just a little plastic bezel on the Defi gauges. It just slips on and off.

Love the antenna xluben! Could I ask you a favor? Could you possibably grab a overall length and width of the antenna? I want to see if this will work with my problem areas on my roof :/

I checked in to see if you were installing the 6266, but looks like it was for someone else? Was the TS header for someone else too? Do you have any plans for bigger turbo?
