Unhappy My coworker was killed the other night.

http://www.vancouversun.com/news/New...112/story.html

I worked at St. Paul's Hospital with Aneez, a cardiology fellow, who was killed on 4th Ave. in Vancouver the other night with his new fiancee by a drunk driver. He will be sorely missed.

RIP Aneez & Chanelle

That sucks.

I suppose it's better that they were both killed than one having to live with the pain of losing the other, though.

I hate how the media pounces on Facebook to find things to say about people who die, though. I'm pretty sure I don't want any of my Facebook inanities to end up in my obituary.

Exactly what we were talking about at work today. We're thankful that they are together at least.

This is a really tragic waste of 2 lives. A nurse friend of mine was mentioning how Aneez had probably completed the hardest part of his training only to get mowed down by drunk kid. My condolences to the families.

That's a sad story.
The guy had so much ahead of him, and the skills and work ethic to take him places. She was looking forward to getting into social work. And now it's all gone, because some kid decided to get pissed, and drive like an asshat.

It goes to show that sometimes, one's decisions can affect more than just themselves.

RIP.

When do people really get to realize the consequences of drink and drive?

My Condolences. I just heard from my brother over dinner that the kid involved in committing the accident goes to the same school with him and just transferred in this year after getting kicked out of another place

This happened right in front of my place, dumb ass drunk ass 18yr old in his folks SUV AND he ran away and had to be run down by the police dog. I hope the little F-er gets the full meal deal up the bum in prison.
