Default 04 rear bumper vs 05 rear bumper

I'm looking to get a rear bumper apron for my 05 sti but I want to know if the 04 replica ones from gruppe-s will fit the 05 bumper since it's much cheaper

I realize that the 04 and 05 bumpers are a little different even though gruppe-s told me they'll fit, but needed to make new holes...

this is what the 05 bumper aprons look like http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subex...rear-apron.JPG

can anyone confirm on this?

I was told by someone in Gruppe-s that the 04 and 05 apron are different because of the lower corners. I have not try comparing the two apron together but it looked as it would fit. I think it all comes down to the quality of the fitments. If you're the type that needs everything to be perfect then get the right part but if you want to save some money for something else and not worry about the perfect fit then get the 04 replica one.
