Hey my name is Cory. Im new to this form and a new Subaru owner. I have a 08 WRX. I love the car and all the Subie owners I have talked to have been great. Ill be at the BBQ for sure, hope to meet some new people and get more involved in the SoCal Subie world.

There are several things I can suggest for a new subie owner: 1) Don't believe everything you read on the forums 2) Any minor change in the powertrain recommends a tune 3) Changes in suspension can make a world of difference before power mods 4) Wave Hi when you see another subie on the road (the regular legacy and outback folk might not always appreciate the wave) 5) Have lots of fun, dont' waste your energy trying to show up the ricers, and get to thoroughly know your car so when something changes, you'll be aware of it (or if something is wrong) that's my 2 cents |

Erro Cory, I'm Mike welcome! Anson has some very good points. My advice would be to take what some ppl say on the forums with a grain of salt. Most ppl are very nice and helpful but there are a few who like to be Internet bullies and flame u for not using the search bar. While they are correct in suggesting a little research, they also don't have to be dicks about it.
But there are a lot of cool ppl on here who genuinely love Subarus and the ppl who drive them. Can't wait to meet u at the BBQ! |

Chad, we'll bring chips and dip, some brewskies and drinks, chairs, and I'll also bring some pop up trash cans just to help keep the trash under control a little bit. I'll probably try and borrow an ez-up too.

In general, the beach staff doesn't allow pallets. They will if you can prove all of the nails and screws have been removed from them.
Wood would be great for the bonfire afterward, but Charcoal/Lighter Fluid would be preferred for cooking. Sometimes regular wood is pretreated.... |

Yea I would take out the nails and stuff. Make them short enough to put in my car.

lol but seriously, I'll show ya. Unfortunately it's not really an assembly thing. Just a one man show because you need a special tool/thingy-ma-bobber. |
