Default Subaru Fan Fan Festival, Rifu, Japan. (Classic Subies, too!)

An old friend of mine runs a small Subaru tuner company called "Wangan Special"(www.wangan-spl.co.jp).
He asked me to work the (small) aftermarket booth. I was free, so I went.
It was hot as hell, but it was fun.

This was just a PR event for Subaru. They had a test drive course, race car
demonstrations, a small classic Subaru display, plus a bunch of other stuff.

I spent most of the day in the booth, fighting over with Shibata-san over
the oscillating fan. The guys from SYMS, STi, and TRUST were fighting over
the subie girls.

Anyway, here's what I saw:

Test drive course.

I'm curious about that diesel version of the Boxer. Did some looking and didn't find anything but little blurbs with no info.

Sweet pics. Was one of those an RA-R? That silver one? Looked like it. The
S402 is cool to. Wish we got them here. Need that mouse.

I could be wrong, but I think the RAR only came in blue, white and yellow.
That silver one (leaving the parking lot) is an S204.

Awesome shots. Looks like an awesome event too - I wish I could've gone.

And I seriously had no idea Subaru had a kart team.
