My Take On My New AccessPort,Feeback Please
Alright, I just put this thing on my car and I am AMAZED !!!!!!! Right off the bat I'm getting 16.8 PSI, boost is up and down betweent 15 and 16.8, but from what I believe it will settle itself down once the computer takes to the new base. This thing went from pretty fast to real fast in about 20 min !!!
My only gripes are, once you load in a base map, mine is the 91 Oct v1.30, then I loaded in a real time 93 Oct v1.30 (I'm running 100 octane right now) When I put in 'View Current Map' it says 91v130.... How are you supposed to make sure you are on 93 or 91 because after this tank, its back to 91 octane (5.99 a gallon is alot to have some extra fun ) And, the vaccuum reader is -10 in/hg (boost gauge shows 20 in/hg, AP reads 10 in/hg) off from my boost gauge.... no idea why that would be. How can I revert back to a base map and not run a real time map ?

You could also simply disconnect your car's battery for a while to switch back to the 91 octane base map. When the ECU loses power, it will default to the real time settings that correspond to the base map you've flashed.
Are you sure your isn't displaying psi rather than inches (or possibly millimeters) mercury? I have an '03, so my AP may be very slightly different... but I know it displays psi for both positive and negative pressure while my Omori boost gauge displays psi for positive pressure and mmHG for negative (because you can't really have negative pressure). If this is the case, you'd be close to -20 on the boost gauge and -10 on the AP while at max. vacuum. |

now what are the limits to how many times I can flash a real time/ECU reset/etc ? Isnt there like a 100 program limit before the computer wont take to any more flashing ?

You can flash a realtime map as many times as you like without affecting the "100 reflash limit". It is only when you reset the basemap that it takes away from the imaginary 100 count.
As far as I know nobody has ever had an issue with the ecu crapping out after 100 flashes, I think it is just stated as a precautionary measure. |

The ratio between PSI and mmHG is about 1-2, so -10psi is about -20mmHG. |
