Default Enkei & Advan owners

Hello ppl

Looking at these two sets,

Enkei GTC01 18x9 +40
Advan RZ 18x9 +45

Both wheels are made by Enkei and look very similar. Im not looking for opinions but rather input from current owners as to fitment. My only remaining question is whether either one of these wheels require a front spacer to clear Brembos. I have read through various blogs, TehClap's website, and was unable to find a proper answer.

Any input would be appreciated.

Both wheels clear brembo's in the sizes you mentioned.

Enkei GTC01 would look sick....... you dont see too many of those. Probably the only one in and around fresno/lemoore with those wheels.

I sure love mine, also get compliments on them quite often. I like the fact you rarely see them. I'll be ok with you getting a set as well considering we're thousands of miles away from each other haha

Also the quality of the Enkei's are superb. The GTC01's are a little on the heavy side but i just went through my Advan AD07's and put another set of tires on. First time around balance out nearly perfect with very little weight needed, expected of a brand new wheel (and brand new tires). This time around with 1k mile old Nitto's i had replaced with the AD07's...nearly perfect again. This is after probably 10k miles ATLEAST, and quite a few notable impacts from potholes and more importantly stupid raised asphalt from construction with no ****ing signs haha. Definitely was impressed after the second go round.

They do look good.

I like their look over the Volk Ce28Ns. I've never seen an STi in this area with them. Its rare to see an STi in this area with anything good haha, it's usually some riced out junk. What size are the wheels on those pics?

I've ordered the 18x9s

Just need some re-11s or some ad08s now

Need to find a hook up on the price....

those look convex, wonder if they have a concave style like the NT03's.

I like them, but I think a concave style would be cool.

They are 18x8's. I'm very happy I chose these wheels, didn't know they shared some resemblance with RE30's until I saw some at an autocross in a similar finish on an RX8 parked beside me, I really like them.

If you want RE-11's let me know, I can probably get you buy 3 get 1 free.... too bad I sold my last extra set LOL. I have driven on AD08, it would be a tough decsion.

As for Riced out junk, you are damn straight. I have seen TWO Sti's in fresno worth mentioning, but that is about it. A white one with Gram Lights, and another blue one with VOLKs. Most are slammed on stock wheels and all tore up.
