Stage 1 now. Maybe different later. But I decided the stock exhaust wasn't going to cut it so I picked up this when it came up locally.

I've always been "sponsored" by them. They have supported me with every mod and tune along the way. NF made this car possible. They don't really hold me to any specific obligations so I think I've been lacking a bit in my public support for them but now I'm stepping it up!

Your gonna love this then, it's got a nice tone but nothing crazy. I saw it before he installed it on the car and I must say Cobb does very nice work on the exhaust I think you will be pleased with it.

OK, I'll try to do a Stage 1 50-100 video sometime soon.

That's good to hear! Yes, I was happy with the build quality and construction of the exhaust. I'm looking forward to seeing how it sounds!

I just read, sorry for your hard times dude. Definitely an amazing car you built and I hate to see it so under powered. Maybe one day again dude!

FINALLY!!! I don't know how you hadn't gotten the Cobb CBE yet considering you love the subtle sounding less interior drone catbacks. I know you like those double walled tips on the greddy/spt setups, but I guarentee once you get that fitament nice and centered the striaght cut pipes will look amazing!! If I ever get another CBE it will most certainly be Cobb, I love those straight cut tips, looks so racey!!!

For a while I was very opposed to spending any decent amount of money on an exhaust with straight cut tips. I'm not really big into the looks of my car, but that's just something I didn't like. But now I'm starting to come around. The straight cut tips don't look fancy, but they can look aggressive at times. I hope the sound and fitment is good!

Ben, fwiw you inspired me to switch from ebcs to a hybrid setup for my 20G-XT and 44mm ewg. I couldn't be happier. I've had the car since new (Nov of'06) and this is the best it has ever run. Boost response is amazing. Thanks for paving the way and keep up the good information coming!

That's great to hear. That sounds like a really nice setup. Should have good spool and some nice top end as well. The hybrid boost control setup is really nice.

In general, is this setup more difficult to tune for? I've heard of a few tuners that don't want to work with it.

Nothing yet but I'll try to get them soon. I'm hoping for a bit more than your average Stage 1.

what actually determines "stage 1" isn't it usually just a reflash.

Stage 1 depends on manufacturer. Mine will be a custom tune, not an off the shelf one.
