Its kind of sketchy to buy an engine from a junk yard I think. Try metric motors.

+ 1 to metric and Japanese Engine, also www.car-part.com is a good place, it lets you search most of the area wrecking yards online inventory. Also most will offer some kind of warranty included with the price of the part iirc 30 days is the average. The other nice thing is some of the motors are prepulled

Metric motors FTW.
You should Google for now on or go to a mechanic shop and ask where to get motors.

But seriously some people get way too butt hurt cuz you start a thread asking about a good local place to get engines on a local forum on a car website.

Just my 2cents.

I miss 5 years ago. I can still remember when we did the big cottonwood drive. Everyone got their license taken down except me.

Oh and the cop who asked the guy when is he going to drive a grown up car and the dude replies back with, " I also own a Ferrari and a Porsche".

Case in point.
Like I was saying he should have searched so he didn't clutter the site, but you don't need to be a post-Nazi.

Ps, dickheart? Next time try something more clever like 'lord fleshlight'.

call LKQ in springville or denver area - they are one of the largest auto recyclers in the country and may have an engine for you (lkqcorp.com i think)

RMIC staff? i dont see mod under your username? im just as entitled to post a thread in the rmic as anyone. and will continue to do so if i feel that its appropriate.

i dont see how this thread is that big of a pain in your life. you dont have to read it, you dont have to participate. its one line on the first page of the rmic. if the title doesnt apply to you or you feel its not important to you or your interests dont open it.

sorry im not cool like you and havent been a member of the rmic since it started. but doesnt mean im less of a member then you are. so id rather not be treated as such.

thanks,
kyle
