STI mikey started tuning it and in all fairness, I just kinda took over to see what I could do. Mikey was kind enough to help me out and shoot me some advice on an as needed basis- he's a great guy and a brilliant tuner!! Anyway, the car lives on 93oct and is decent enough (no dyno yet. still touching it up a bit), but every now and again E85 goes in for a weekend if Dad or I decide to go to the track which is the case today (1/4 mile times should be up tonight/tomorrow) so I decided to get serious and actually tune the E85 map. I think there could be more in it, but I'm more than happy with the results and likely won't try to extract anything more out of it since its dad's car- not my own. Making roughly 20hp and 20tq less the car ran 12.7@106 so hopefully we'll see some improvements tonight The car: The Chart:

Nice build man, this is what I want to do to my 04 wrx. Simple build with lots of torque. Must be a fun ride especially on E85...

Its actually kinda low number. The motor has poor compression (140, 140, 125, 115) but still managed a best time of 12.35@114 making marginally more power than seen in that dyno plot. A replacement motor with solid compression arrives this weekend.

Makes we wonder what the new Blouch 16G-XT is capable of on a 2.0L + E85 combo. I have yet to see any proven results of that combo.

If I were gonna spend that much money, I'd get an HTA68. |

Although I don't expect any huge differences, it'll still be interesting and should hold up top a little nicer. |

Besides faster spool from the 16G, why not an HTA68??
