Default fog inside headlight

its just fogging a little from after my HID install. i ordered ne backings but how can i get the current fog out. again only fog no real wet moisture dripping and stuff.

um either leave your lights on for a bit or pull your car into a garage for a bit and pop the hid out of the headlamp and let it sit.

its should be normal. i took my car to the dealer and they said its fine, not to worry. he printed out the service bulletin with information on the subject. if you would like, i can scan it for you and post it.

thats it? i ordered new backs that im going to mod correctly for the HID so it has no leaks or air getting in just wanted to get the current fog out first. thanks

i noticed this after washing my car, dew formed on the inside of the headlight. nothing to worry about though

I had this problem when i installed my angel eyes on my 09wrx, but mines was because i didn't reseal it properly and it fogged badly, had to do it right the second time and it never fogged again.

But I believe the newer models aren't suppose to have this problem anymore, since they have the covers sealed up with o-rings and the design change again.

But if its minimal i wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure it doesn't fog horribly otherwise it will be a pain waiting to get all the condensation out, thats if your inpatient like me

i had this problem on my brand new 2008 (stock lighting) so i think your point is invalid, although theres always a possibility..
