2.25 ft. Internal volume. Vent is 4" Diameter X 11.75" long (you may be missing a number here) 36hz is determined by the volume/vent and should be the tuning freq of the box they recomend. They should have included a diagram of the box showing what the dimensions are refering to. Hope this helps. |

Please take no offense, but if you don't know what you're doing, your ears will thank you for having it done professionally. It's not as simple as you may think, especially if you're using a slot-port.

get a pro to build it, then try to build one on your own. it's better to have a good one and f*** up a practice box. when i first got into box building i used cheap plywood to practice building boxs'. putting the pieces together in the right order is important as your pieces should be cut to fit a certain way for solidity.

Basically all you need to worry about is making a 2.25 cu ft box (total internal volume) with a round port 4" in diameter and 11.75" long. You can use PVC or ABS pipe or buy a pre-made round port. The rest of the information they gave you are just what the specs of the box will be if you build it properly.
Good luck, remember to measure twice, cut once. |
