I don't like the extra weight but it shifts better. The car feels like it handles way better for some reason; at least I don't have to worry about another transmission breaking Yeap! a 68lb/min turbo hitting 27psi by 3960rpm, 20psi by 3740rpm, 15psi by 3500rpm Probably next year but I will go on kill mode, I am only running right now 21.5* of timing at redline which is 7500rpm. Thanks, so far I don't have any traction issues. I will get some better tires in the future. |

looks good! Does it seem like the Red did this awhile ago? Im asking because I just got a FP Red and have seen the same numbers, just asking not talking **** or anything.
and also 225/45/17 is the stock sti tire size, why go with the 215's? |

The street tires that I have are hte lightest there is and it has really soft side walls, I have cut 1.6's with them and EVOs have cut 1.5's. My car is also a WRX it comes with 215s IIRC. |

Looks great Juan! Can I ask why you havnt rotated yet? Is the boost taper on purpose or the small exhaust housing?

God Juan, you just have power for days. Your spool makes me jealous. Thats just incredible. 27psi that early must feel amazing on the street.

Here's my plot. The shape, the peaks, the spool, etc all look pretty much the same as yours! http://www.benjohnsonphotography.com...5PvZSRL-XL.jpg It's a ton of fun on the street, but with your car being a good 400-500lbs lighter than mine I'm sure it's even more fun! |

Be careful with those rods Juan. Remember what I told you when I was building it
If I were you, I would drop the timing at peak torque down to 8-10* to help with not snapping one of them. |

I have seen FP reds make 560whp VD dynojet, I can increase timing a lot 5-6* and is running relatively rich. It hits 10.9 AFR in the midrage and 11.5 AFR at redline... I haven't had a chance to clean up the tune . As far as boost I have 625+ custom age head studs so I think I can run 30psi easy. Also If I go EWG it should give me good gains; I think this turbo can hit close to 600whp dynojet all out, 560whp realistically yeap I am trying to keep torque down, I think timing at peak torque is set at 13-14* right now. I got another set of pistons and a case, I just need a good set of rods and it may go your way so you can built me another amazing short block . |

The spool looks deceptively good because you're using 4th gear ok the 07+ gearing on the street. That's a nice tall gear that will really spool up the turbo. What are the numbers like on the mustang VD setting?
Thanks -- Ed |

If I dyno it in 3rd I bet it will hit 27psi by 4200rpm... which is still really good. You did a road dyno for me with your software a while back and I think it made 430-440whp. I think it makes around 430whp on the mustang dyno settings, if I crank it up to the same parameters that your run on that STi GT35 Rotated, E85 - 473whp" that you just tune, my hp numbers should be the same with better spool and not droping power up top. Thanks Ed. |

About 420-430whp sounds about right. Could you do a pull in 3rd? I'm curious to see where your torque peak would end up.
No doubt you have some nice spool from the TMIC, small header and hot side, but I think those will be quite a bit of restriction it you try to push it much more. You will run into MBT much earlier from the increased back pressure. This would be better compared to the GTX3071 we built a while back that did 440whp on a TMIC at about 25psi. That car hit peak torque at 4k RPM in 4th gear on the dyno (07+ gearing). -- Ed |

Agreed the hotside is the restriction right now. That GTX3071 was running a EWG which if I ever decide to get one will help a lot 15-25whp. |
