I had a store clerk tell me to shut off my car once because he said I was letting bad fumes into the store. Mind you, my fiance was in the convenient store and she said the fumes didn't get inside yet. So, after about the 3rd time he comes out to tell me (actually demanded me on the 3rd time) to shut off my engine, I told him that I couldn't just shut the car off because my turbo has to cool down first. He stormed inside really pissed..

So, my fiance comes out and tells me the clerk was being a Douche and telling her to hurry up and buy whatever she needs to buy because she has her son and husband in the car waiting. I wanted to go in there and wring his neck after that, buy it was worthless to do that at that point and not to mention I would probably get arrested.

What really strikes me is that he could have been more polite. That and the fact he was trying to tell my fiance that my son and I were waiting for her as if he was concerned for us at all when he just didn't wanna smell any supposed fumes.

...back on topic, I always get asked if my car is turbo'd or people always assume its an sti if they know a little something about subaru. I just answer them directly. Better to let them know than to be a Douche. Not everyone knows everything.

I've heard use OEM gear oil.

I've heard a lot of things, doesn't make any one better than the other. The topic has been beaten like a dead horse, so, do your research, make your own opinion.

I'm sticking to OEM gear oil.

There is nothing wrong with sticking to OEM, but Scottys cocktail has been proven to be one of THE BEST gear oils you can put in a Subaru transmission. There is a reason several highly successful track teams have utilized his winning combination.

and done with this, here

I'd still use gear oil made by actual manufacturers. Not some guy who posts around on a forum.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Stop posting and start reading.

All gear oils in scotties cocktail are made by "actual manufacturers". Pennzoil?? Castrol???? GM??? Redline???

Have you been living under a rock?

Even though said "guy who posts on forums" and how many other people have used the cocktail with no problems, and has had positive effects on the transmission. But what do I know? I'm just some other guy who posts on a forum.

ok guys, be gentle, he obviously meant that he'd rather trust a single manufacturer's house recipe than mixing different recipies. i can respect that, i mean mix the wrong chemicals and you can have an explosion...enough flaming, he just had a poor choice of words

rim + spokes + hub = wheel

The first three are sub-components and the last is the major component.

One that is cast (forged, etc.) as a single piece is still a wheel and still has the three sub-components... they are just a permanent (single) part rather than an assembly if three separate parts.

Now, back to funny/stupid stuff said by people OUTSIDE this form plz

What he said. But since they are so eager to try and be "hard" on the Internet they try and bash.

I didn't think anyone would actually answer my wheel-related post.

Got a cool text earlier:
Friend: You pronounce Sube like pube? Right?
Me: Umm...kinda. There's more "ew" in pube than there is in Sube. It sounds more like Soob.
Friend: Can I still call it the pube?
Me: Lol when did you start calling it that?
Friend: Just now lol

That's right. I drive around in a black pube. Haters gonna hate.

There are idiots that buy every car not just Subaru. You seem to think that a lot. Look around on other forums.
