Hopefully everything starts going good for you bud. No one needs that negative stuff in their lives. I have been doing good, ended up having to pull the engine out of my daily so now i'm dealing with this and hope to have it up and running soon. Doing some other changes to the car as well so it stands out more and it's more to my taste.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. Were you the one who had videos up a while back with a white RHD Skyline? I remember that thing being nasty. Anyways, that sucks that you had to pull your motor, what broke? I'm getting married in Sept. so I don't exactly have the budget I'd like to right now, but when that's done I plan on picking up a daily and a cherry picker and having some real fun with the motor. I'm not gonna pretend like I have all the knowledge, are there any guide guides for pulling and building a motor. I can turn a wrench, I just need to know where to put it.

Engine going back in the car this weekend. Found several things wrong when i pulled it. PCV wasn't connected correctly, cylinder 1 sleeve has a small crack and the piston that goes in that sleeve had ring land failure.

So for now just to get the car up and running, decided to pull the Cosworth engine out of my track toy. I will replace the engine of the track toy with a IAG Stage 2 closed deck or buy Brody Hamblins extra block he has and build it in the near future.

Wow, life kidney punched me pretty hard in the last few months. I forgot that we were reviving this because I've been busy with moving, dealing with financial issues, etc. etc. etc.

Can't do anything next week, but can we make plans for July 3? I can stay out past curfew because I don't have to work the next day, LOL.

Still gonna use this C&C to post other stuff.

Today I received my paint to get the interior of the car painted and the roll cage. Painting the chassis black inside with Dark grey roll cage bars

Picked up the paint to start paining the interior on the track wrx. Thinking about getting rid of the sound deadening but don't really feel like dealing with it. I'll probably paint over it for now. Doing the floor black with shiny grey roll cage.

What's your opinion on wraps? I have an 08 hatch in WRB but the paint is starting to develop some issues. I was thinking about doing a matte army green wrap over the entire car, but I don't know how well they hold up.

They hold on great. HimynameisGreg and I both tracked our cars with wraps and we had no issues with them. Daily usage and with it seeing rain, snow ect i'm not sure how long total it will last but i'm sure a couple years.

Thread CPR, I've looked into the wraps, they're fairly pricey. Since my car is 10 yrs old now, and I have a friend with a paint booth, I may just look into repainting the whole car. I'm also looking at picking up a daily so I can start tearing my wrx apart and have something else to hammer on as a track toy once I'm satisfied. Found a cool 2001 BMW that needs a bit (possibly a lot) of TLC for 1k, but I'm really leaning towards a miata that I can slap a turbo in, learn some tuning, and not care if it breaks. These are all just maybes though until the right deal comes along. How's everyones summer coming along?
