Got to drive it. A good bit. Will do oil change here soon, as I kinda fubard the last one. Next big purchase is either new rear seat bar and new struts/ springs; or new intake, UEL headers and new catless J pipe.

Finally replaced my damaged front right ball joint and both sway bar links.
Was going to do the LHS inner CV boot, but couldn't get the bolt off the shock to be able to move the shaft out, so will have to take it in to get someone to crack the bolt as I managed to crack a 19mm impact socket.
I know you guys like photos
Getting her ready

New vs Old ball joint

New vs Old swaybar links

And can any one tell me what the link and box are that is just above the steering arm?
I had a feeling its to do with the self levelling headlights.

put on a cone filter. not for extra horsepower or anything, just wanted to hear the engine. definitely sounds a lot better now.

Installed a DW300 fuel pump and filter, Cobb 1050x injectors, and a Grimmspeed 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid. Also installed the new E-Tune from IA Performance and will be starting the datalogging process.

After 233k miles, the engine blew. Not today, but a few days ago, I had to have the engine pulled out. Good news, is now I get to rebuild her!!

I put her back together. After purchasing her 3 weeks ago barely running, she's been in my garage ever since. Been dealing with busted hoses and many other miscellaneous unexpected issues.

In that time I have replaced the fuel filter, PCV valve, wiper blades, spark plugs, coil packs, cabin filter, positive battery terminal, Intercooler Y pipe hose, turbo inlet (with Samco), all the coolant hoses with Mishimoto kit. I also sea foamed 3 ways, changed the coolant, fixed the radiator fans that weren't working, and spent a couple hours cleaning the engine bay and underneath.

Next up, need to figure out and deal with the power steering leak, change all the fluids, check/replace brakes if needed, new tires, and do some datalogging!

I installed an AWE Touring Edition exhaust on my 2018 STi. Love the sound!

Just ordered Perrin LWC and aFe intake. Hopefully will be here by Friday and can install over next weekend as I have no other plans, besides laying around while dog sitting for my boss.

Installed the Perrin steering dampener lockdown over the weekend. Was a fairly easy install and did it all from the topside of the engine - only had to unclip and move one set of electrical wires. It is a noticeable improvement over how it used to feel, and just one of those small detail things that really dials it in. Never really noticed the slop in the steering much before this mod, but definitely would recommend.

I never really notice the looser steering in my car until I jump into either of my parents Gen 5 Outbacks. Same thing with my gen 2 Outback and when Id jump in my parents Gen 4s.

I parked my poor car in the hot beating sun without any protection. I feel horrible but I've always heard car covers can scratch up your car...

Swapped out the torn oem turbo inlet for a Perrin inlet. What a pain.

This weekend I did the infamous C light mod/blacked out housing... took me about 7 hours with 2 people! Felt pretty accomplished after, since this was my first go at wiring (not extremely hard, just had no prior knowledge) Got everything to work finally.

Next weekend I'm going to install rear LED's, and carbon fiber overlay for the trunk trim, and rear trunk.

Had been putting off putting a steering rack into my STi for quite some time now. Finally did it two days ago after fluid would almost literally drop to the ground when I poured it in. Lol

Drove it. 750 more miles to get it out of break-in and then autocross time.
