Default Outstanding price for tools!!!

Hey guys I just wanted to share this deal I found on a 243 piece craftsman tool set. I paid $74.99 for 243 pieces, only thing is it doesn’t come with a tool box. They come in individual boxes. Which is fine since I have a tool chest. Anything close to this many pieces is over $300. I attached a link so you can see what you get.

Wow! Nice starter kit. What is the first mod (repair) you are going to work on?

Gotta admit, that's a pretty good deal. How do the ratchets feel, sloppy or are they decent?

what coupon did you have to get $25 off? Says currently unavailable for me.
Even at $100 its not terrible.
Harbor freight has a nice 4' wood top box with drawers for under $300 with no coupon.

Feel like a normal craftsman ratchet. I have used a few snap on and mac ratchets and feel about the same for fraction of the price.

I didn’t in eastern PA they are on clearance. It took the manager about 30 minutes to actually locate the tool kit even though the store indicated it had 5 in stock. However he did say Lowe’s guarantee would have afforded me a different option because it was on there website for the price.

I compared it to the set that had 298 pieces and sells for $349.99. It only had 10 more sockets and 10 more box wrenches and I assume a few more driver pieces. So I feel it was well worth it’s value.

yeah it must be a regional thing.
Also the lowesdeals site allows you to buy a 10% or better coupon for under a buck. I got a 15% off one for $6 then went down and bought $300 worth of zip board & lumber...lol
