Don't compare us with other vendors. I know nothing about Kingpins business or his practices, but from what I have read about them we do not owe customers tens of thousands of dollars let alone thousands of dollars like they are being accused of. Thanks for that though. Have a great thanksgiving!

We'll be closed for the holiday by the way so if you e-mail me from this point on I will not be around until Monday. I have been here all morning and not one person has e-mailed me about any problems they're having....why?
I look forward to hearing from anyone with questions regarding their orders or any other issues they might have. Greg |

Joel, you were credited. I have the receipt here in the office. Sometimes it takes more then 48hrs to post and that's not up to us, but I'm sure your credit card company WILL post it because I did indeed credit your card without any issues.

I dont know when you guys will learn.... if a deal looks to good to be true it def. is. ADAM @Z1 IS, WILL BE, AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN THE MAN. WWW.z1AUTO.COM No Shadiness at all. These guys are obviously clowns and have no intention of helping any of you. Mauro is not a business he is a middle man that got in too deep. I have purchased every part i own from Z1..... with ZERO PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!
Now all you mauro fans can attack me, but I speak the truth I never post on this piece of ****, because all it is a bitch session. The proof is in the puddin' Go on the Evo forums and read about Z1 for yourselves, nothing but praise..but i bet you guys already knew that. |

If you think the site is a piece of shiot then cancel your newbie membership. Your just on here trying to promote your business.
Who cares what you think? Go back to your happy EVO site and if you ever get anything meaningful or contibutive to comment about then comment. there are a very few peeps who have had a problem with Greg just like every business, they can try to please everyone but no matter how hard you try there is always the 10%. Most of us here have great things to say about Greg and his business. Jay-R Quote:

Dr. EVO - Nice post. I'm glad you are freely speaking your mind, but why slander. Shady? Middle Man? Is this the reason why Mauro does more then $1 million in sales each year for the last 2 years? I think not. Every business has its share of issues and I'm pretty sure Z1 had his share a while back. Both Mauro and Z1 do business together occasionally and I'm sure that Adam knows this is not true. Nor would he think that what you are doing on this review forum is kosher by any standard. What you're saying is slanderous and it's quite obvious (since these are your ONLY two posts on this forums) you're trying to get a rise out of the rest of the members here. If you have something you want to say then maybe you should give us a ring or contact the owner directly. This is a very immature way of praising a company that you like to purchase from in my opinion. Last edited by Greg@Mauro; 12-02-2006 at 06:08 PM. |

Greg,
Where has Anthony been? Last email I got from him in early Nov said he had said the perrin up-pipe arrived. I asked him to ship it, and never recieved anything. Nor heard any word about that or anything about the remaining credit. What's going on? Dan 'Spec G' G |

Just want to post up my latest experience with mauro, it was probably the best one i've had with any vendor period. i called anthony yesterday and told him about my situation (car accident) and needed a front mount and a seibon hood. well he price matched and beat all the other vendors price for the FMIC and i got it today beat that for service. as for the hood it just so happend that he had one used from his car at his house which he gave to me at a SWEET deal, could i ask for more?? no!
ant went above and beyond to help me out and i just wanted to post up how much he helped me the last couple of days and how thankful i am. |

I am one of those 'mature' customers ('old' and 'old-time') that Greg
mentioned a couple of posts back. I am reluctant to wade into this $hit-swamp, but I have to take a shot. I've dealt with Anthony for years. I've spent a lot of $$$ with him. (Infinity FX45 money, actually ). I have waited for longer than I thought appropriate and I have been more than a bit upset (yes, even old guys can get pissed). Other times I have been amazed with Anthony's abilities and service. We've had some 'Volky' bumps in the road, but most of the time it has been good. Best vendor ? Probably not. Worst ? Definitely not. Trying to be better ? Absolutely. I have been modifying motorcycles and cars for 20+ years and these are my opinions based upon my particular experience. OK. Now let's see if anyone else is brave/dumb/naieve enough to agree with me. And to Greg, Big-A and Ant: Merry Xmas and Happy Heinekin. Rob. |

Just this past week was my first experience dealing with them. Anthony is awesome with customer service. However, it was very difficult to get someone on the phone and now I am still waiting for a tracking number for my shipment which was ordered last thursday. I attempted to call numerous times and left a message with no return. Hoping things make a turn for the better.....

Rob,
I dont know who's older-oldtimer you or I, but I have been stcking up for Anthony throughout this entire as you say "$hit-swamp". I have bought a lot of stuff from them in previous years for my other cars, hard to find stuff. As I have said many times here, I have never been dissatissfied because I always ask them up front "how long" and then I add some time to it, it's not like we pay 100% up front for high $ items. Point well-taken. We often do NOT pay much (if anything) up front on seriously high $$$ items. Anthony eats most of money-cost for (sometimes) months, and then collects on the remainder only once he ships (in my experience, anyway). That is tough even for any size business to handle... especially when one of those 'hard-to-get' JDM containers might hold more than $30K of inventory. We have to do our part: we have to shop around, check what other vendors say re: cost, delivery, etc... and then select a vendor. It's up to us (the buyer) to self-inform and self-educate prior to placing our orders. Anthony can't make anyone order from him. Finally - and as you so correctly point out - we have to include a buffer or a reserve for things that Anthony can't control, such as delays associated with clearing JDM containers thru customs, etc. In the end, nothing is perfect and no one is perfect. |

email
guys, e-mail servers are down right now and apparently we're not the only yahoo store having this issue. For some reason my account is the only one that's working so please e-mail any questions or problems directly to me until the service is fixed. [email protected]

Let me just say that Greg is awesome and everything worked out fine. If you have any issues make sure to contract Greg, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Overall, awesome vendor, just difficult to get ahold of someone when calling. Email is MUCH better. Thanks for the help Greg.

Thanks Andrew. Glad we could help and glad those rota's arrive fast! The phones have always been a problem. We need more lines and more people to answer them. As for email we had some issues with the [email protected] email account that our server techs are working out. [email protected] and [email protected] work fine as of today though. We should have the sales@mauro email fixed up by tonight...hopefully yahoo can fix the POP server for us.

Mauromotorsports
Has anyone else been having a problem with Mauromotorsports? I have been trying to contact them for 3 weeks now. Leaving messages and pm's. I have not heard back from them once. I preordered Mud flaps from them which they just got a new shipment of them 2 weeks ago. I cant even cancel the order and order elsewhere cuz no one wants to respond. If they are on back order still it would be very nice to know. They said I would get a set if I preordered so I did. WTF!!!!! Now I have this order hanging with them and cant do anything about it.
