no worries... there are replicas of this setup on ebay as well that are very similar to my setup. I have honestly never seen the versions you have though... but they are carbon wrapped over fiberglass instead of full carbon. Longevity is the goal.

I've searched all over, with mixed answers :-/
Maybe one of you old school guys has first hand knowledge of this. I'm picking up a PnP'd Throttle Body. So, I've gotta swap all the sensors. IACV and MAP are a no brainer. The TPS has me a little confused. I've read you have to "zero" it at closed throttle to .5v. Okay, non issue. Except, my TPS doesn't have slotted holes. Then I read the 16bit ecu doesn't care, just slap the sensor on. Huh? Which is it? Any of you guys been here before? I only ask in here, because it seems specific to the 16bit ecu. |

well it's drive by cable NOT wire. If I'm remembering right you don't do anything with the TPS and just slap the sensor on. The ECU determines all the particulars based on a few things.

exactly.... I believe the reason it needs to be loaded is because the TGVs don't use the full range that the sensor is capable of... where when it's a TPS you it uses the full range or most of it.

FYI: I DID need to cut on my driver side of the center section to fit my exhaust though... be prepared. I was trying to not cut but ended up needing to. |

Wrong thread, but I do have retrofitted HID projectors on my bugeye. I just don't know what kit I'll be safe with running. I was thinking about running the Bi-Xenon kit but what other kits can I run for a decent price right now? Both my ballasts just went out and one high beam refuses to come on.

285/30/18 Hoosier A6s on 18x9.5 Mach V Wicked Awesomes. They weight 3lbs less at each corner than my 17x9 wheels and tires, lol
Unfortunately, they hit the suspension with their +42 offset, so I've got 12mm spacers coming in the mail. |
