Tons of people run the stock 'subaru' 4pot caliper setup with some kind of upgraded rotor or stock rotor.. they do very well and dont cost a lot to run either. Subaru pads or some modified nissan pads will do wonders.

Try it man.

The 4 pot/2 pot brakes fit.

In the rear you need the gravel rotor - but you have to drill it for 5 x 114 unless it has been released in 5 x 114.

The front si tough to get a rotor for. The 4 pot rotor doesn't fit over the hub. A guy on Dirty Impreza out in CA made a 2 piece rotor that works.

SVX stuff is somewhat completely different - although I did make a bracket to run 300ZX 4 pots on the SVX rotor - it's 303mm diameter though - so I dunno if it would fit the wheels.

Are you the one who got that pair of brackets? SVX rotors and 300ZX 4 pots?

Got some pics? How is it working?

4pots/2pots, and supposedly there's some Group N 5x114.3 brake rotors meant for just this sort of thing, hidden in the catalog somewhere.

Edit: after looking around, rallispec sells this setup as a kit, and will sell individual rotors too

Edit 2: Also, part #'s from the GroupN tech site for the gravel rotors:

RR: 267004S030 RL: 267004S040

2 piece front rotor to fit the 5 x 114

In the rear Subaru has Gp N 'gravel' rotors in both 5 x 100 and 114 i think - and DBA makes the 5 x 100 version that can be re-drilled

I had a 4pot/2pot set up on my '05 STi so I could run 15" wheels for winter. I got the entire set up from Fourstar Motorsports in Ontario Canuckistan.

Everything was straight bolt on. The only thing was the brake bias was very rearward...so biased that my rears wore out much much faster than the fronts. I got replacements from Rallispec. If I kept the set up, I was going to either put a proportioning valve or the proper master cylinder on there.

no need to redrill anything since subaru makes 5x114.3 rotors for those brakes. You need to get those rotors to clear the hub and rear parking brake anyway.

I tried to redrill a 5x100 front rotor, and the inside diameter is too small to fit over the hub. Options are GroupN front and rear rotors. Jackson rally 2pc front rotor, possibly some other 2pc front rotors(DBA) redrilled to 5x114.3.

I'm using a WRX 2 pot sliding caliper up front, but needed to do a little grinding to the knuckle to fit them and also a little grinding of the bracket to clear the larger outter hub/hat dimensions on the front GroupN rotor. Running GroupN rear rotor and Nissan 2 pot rear caliper.

Works gret as a winter setup. Running team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 15x7
