Default I need some assistance, need help with my build

  • 2.5L STi heads ( wrx camgears) w/ WRX short block
  • Stock WRX intake manifold w/ deleted TGV
  • Walbro Fuel pump
  • SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator
  • TXS Fuel Rails
  • Vibrant manifold
  • Stock td04 turbo w/ ported inlet and wastegate
  • STi Catback Exhaust
  • Aftermarket Top Mount Intercooler
  • Cobb SFI Intake
This is what i currently have on my 2002 wrx, for some reason it feels sluggish, i recently bought this car before it had the sti shortblock on it but bearing blew and the wrx shortblock was put back on. I am wondering maybe the map that is loaded now is more for wrx heads rather then sti heads or maybe since the STI heads have AVCS im loosing power or i just have to get it returned..

depending on which wrx shortblock he got but yeah if you got the ej205 shortblock then you just lost .5 displacement. FAIL

an upside down hybrid.. first ever as far as i've seen...

now lowered compression means you can run more boost. long long ago when i started looking at custom turbo apps for an old datsun, i read where some folks were doing 6:1 compression ratio and running truly humungous boost..

course it comes in real late.. but that reduced compression (at least what you would hear in the old days) means you can get mister turbo to jam in more air and fuel which is what makes power in the end...
