Cool Buying a Honda... (putting on shin guards)

A honda CBR600F4 that is.

No more car mods for me for a while, it's costing me too much money. I'll just pay for another vehical, it's cheaper that way. I'm not even kidding.

Is that why you don't come to the beatdown or the install fests anymore?

Cool

NO..the pimp **** is the Hyabusa powered by a 180 hp DOHC I-4...think about its more power than a bone stock RS at a fraction of the weight! That or a Ducati (spelling) would be my choice of bikes.

Hey, it's my first bike, so I don't want to buy something with too much torque (picture me dead in 5 hours).

Turbo is going in the RS or the Alfa Romeo spyder I should be getting ahold of.

I really do try to make it to BAM's and whatnot, really I do... lots of things going on right now though.

Question

Don't you have to be 21 to have a motorcycle driver's license?

15 and a half you can get your permit. The permit allows you to ride, except that you can't ride at night, go on freeways, or take passengers. After 6 mos, you're 16 and you ca take the test for a full license. At least this was the case when I was that age. Even today I think you still only need to be 16.

Oh yeah,Yamaha YZF-R1 is the all around performance king. Hayabusa is a straight line sled, and an R1 weighs almost the same as an F4, but has alot more power. Current lap record for motorcycles at Willow Springs, is held my Chuck Graves on his R1. He was clocked going 160 in turn 8 (I used to do it at 120 on my Muzzy prepped '93 ZX7-R). He just hits the 180-185mph range before he hits the brakes going into one. His bike is totally built, but it is a great indicator of potential. The R1 is truly the standard by which all other sportbikes are compared to. Being an X motorcycle racer, I though I'd throw in my 2 copper pieces. Take it easy Bay Area friends! Arik : )

Hey Tyrmeltr, I have been eying that bike for a while now. DO you own one? I would love to hear about that bike from someone who owns/riden one. I probably won't buy one for a while since I just got my car but I want one badly .
