Parts ready for cleaning and restoring. The block will get split and rebuilt. Will need to take care of surface rust on the cylinder walls. Goal is protune 18psi with tactrix.

Had a 1998 Legacy GT Limited 2.5, loved that car but the head gasket blew and then the transmission blew at the same time. Currently driving this 2008 Tribeca I found for $1500: https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...1#post46941041

Thread bump..

Brakes came in for the car: 06 WRX TR 4 pot calipers, slotted rotors, ceramic pads 2 sets, and brakes lines. Will be painting calipers black to match the rears. Don't plan on putting emblems on them either.

For the rears I finally got my parts in order: 03 WRX disk brakes with after market lateral links. Painted them black for a mini refresh.

Will be doing the rear brakes conversion first.

Began the passenger rears this past weekend and this nut/bolt took 3 hours to extract. A sawzall, dremel and Liquid Wrench was used until the nut finally broke loose.

No blow torch? The bolt can't be stuck if it's a liquid!

More parts came in thanks to another Subaru buddy!! Hoarding/stock piling parts seems to a trend with me.

Wouldn't recommend if nut is right underneath the fuel tank haha.. I will be using a torch on the other side although.

lol okay that's an excellent point, perhaps keeping flames away from there is in everyone's best interests.
