Default Strafe's Super For Sale Post (2002 WRX, 1987 Hatch, Sanyo 5150)

Pics!!

I'm working on getting pictures of everything up by tonight. So, hang in there. Feel free to email me or PM me with any questions of concerns.

2002 Subaru WRX Sedan

$23,000 OBO

2002 Subaru WRX 5MT Sedan (purchased 03/2001) in World Rally Blue Pearl - The car has 50,000 miles on it, 90% highway. I use it for daily driving to and from work 30 minutes one-way, 5 days a week. The oil is changed every 3000-4000 miles. I have used Mobil One 5W since 1,000 miles. It is in excellent condition with tasteful mods. Never beaten or Auto-X-ed! It has close to 400hp with cockpit controllable boost levels (via Blitz SBC-iD). The car does have a few scratches and some paint has chipped off of the mesh fog covers and the UK300 lip. I have the receipts for almost all of the parts and labor (done only by RalliSpec). All of the STi JDM parts are genuine, no replicas (except for the fog covers). I’m sure a few members on the NASIOC/i-Club could and would vouch for this excellent WRX.

I am not parting out the car. If it doesn’t sell, I will keep the car. I will sell the items at the bottom seperately, in the “Not installed on the car, but included” section. I’m only considering selling it because I want a new project. I absolutely love the car!

Here’s a list of the mods (currently installed) I have added since I bought the car.

A couple of reasons.

1. Looking to buy a house. I actually might put a bid/offer in on one this weekend. SO, I could use the money to fix up the house.

2. Kinda done with the WRX as far as stuff to do. I had brake upgrades (STi Brembos) left on my masterplan list. I did all of the upgrades I every wanted to do, though. It's not a rally car, it's not a tarmac monster, but it is a perfect daily driver monster, balance of both. So, perhaps I'm a little bored with nothing to do on the car. That sounds a little crazy! I do enjoy driving it everyday, knowing it'll whip most cars in a straightline and through the twisties (tarmac or dirt).

3. Fell in love with the new G35 coupe.

We'll see. I don't really want to sell it. I love the car. But if someone wanted to give me $22,000 for it, I'd take it.

G35 is a great car, I heard something about a recall on this year's model however.

Saw a red Z yesterday, the door handles have to go.

Good luck selling.

this car is SWEET. he lives down the street from me (and since i sold my RSX, never waves back! )

if i had $23k to spend again, it would be on this.

Default Some WRX and 5150 Pics

Here's 3 pictures from Vivid Racing's site. My WRX still looks like that, but change the intake to a Blitz SUS and the wheels to STi 17"s.

Here's some pics of the Sanyo 5150 from an old post.

Hey dennis, I don't want to put you down. However $1200 is alittle steap for the hatchback. Ive seen some as nice go for $800 max. You might want to post it on the Ulitmate Subaru Message board, they have a marketplace for posting cars and such for sale. Looks like it is in good shape, good luck selling it. To bad I have one, or I'd make you an offer. Good luck with the house.

That's not crazy at all. I've been feeling the same way recently. Even though I haven't done any engine mods, my car looks EXACTLY the way I want it too, which gives some satisfaction, but somehow disappoints in that there is nothing else to do with it. Kind of spoilt child sydrome.. (I want, I want, I want --->[gets]---> I want something else now...)

Good luck with the sale. I saw your car one time at the Nassau Park Best Buy and it looked awesome!

I ve seen a couple of hatches go for $500 or $600 lately on ebay, you might get a couple of hits from the USMB. Good luck Dennis, let me know if I can help you out. Or I'll give you $500 for it.
