Default 2005 WRX BOV to stock BPV question

I apologize for a question to what is probably easy.
I bought a 2005 WRX with a BOV and a TurboXS fmic installed. I'd like to install a stock BPV. I'm not an engineer but I know that BOVs aren't good for MAF cars.
How would I go about installing a stock BPV? Would I be messing something up and do I have to get the car tuned?

It really depends on whether the car is set up properly for the BOV or not. If it's been installed correctly and properly tuned for then there isn't much of a need to change it back unless you don't like the sound. Can you go back to the seller and find out who did the install and tune? From there you could research them and see if they have a good reputation or a s*** one. But simply putting a BPV on might introduce a set of problems you haven't thought of.

If it hasn't been tuned for/has a crap tune, then that's bad because the ECU is assuming that airflow is in the intake pre-turbo and it would need to be tuned for. So this leaves you the choice of having it properly tuned by a reputable shop or making changes and still having to take it for a proper tune.

So let's start here. What is the entire mod list for the car? Where was it tuned? Who did the install work?

In that case, I definitely won't install the BPV. I appreciate the knowledge! Thank you.
The car is mostly stock, except for the fmic, air filter, BOV, and the exhaust.
The fmic, air filter, and BOV were installed and dyno tuned at a good shop here in the NW called PREracing.

Heard of them and good things as well. Good luck with the car. Love OR btw. Joseph and the Willowa mountains is one of my favorite places.
