It's the only way to mount it with the kit without modifying it... i think i will cut the side pieces down and drill new holes and add it on to here. |

Oh and to the other poster, the point of this originally was 2 functions, one to direct air to the FMIC and second to hide your plate. |

![]() My question as well. What's the point? Does it make it harder for photo radar to read the plate, make it a worse LIDAR reflector, or are you just trying to make it difficult for police to read it from a distance? Either way, it seems like something they could ticket you for.

![]() Search, this was introduced a while ago and was noted that you should paint the kit. As for ppl who want to know the function, read my previous post and for ppl who worry about getting tickets, just tell the officer that someone messed with the plate. I've done it before, most of time the leave you alone because you at least have a front plate.

![]() ^^^ You're not really blocking that much air to worry about specially since air can still go in from the grill. The lower the position the more it hides the plate.

![]() You guys can not use the little oval bars. You can use them as nuts..that way, the place is still the same height, but you can still angle the place..
Ill take a pic if needed.. |

![]() You mean to install the kit without the oval pieces? Why? With the oval pieces you can lower the plate even more and get a more extreme angle.

You can only angle it so much before it looks damn retarded.. and lowering the plate so half the bracket is exposed looks really really retarded.. |
