any websites or ebay links that anyone has found or purchased an 06 impreza 2.5i cat back from? right now I have the stock OEM wrx cat back. Also, are there anythings i should be aware of while upgrading my exhaust for the subaru n/a engines.
Thanks!

I have no idea what you were saying when you posted the above advice in someone else's thread, but maybe it applies here.

The stock impreza has a 1 and 7/8 inch exhaust. alot of people would think instantly that's to small and want a more free flowing exhaust but like said above there not ment to run with 2 and 1/4 inch plus exhausts. honestly any thing

U guys will hate me know but it's so hard for me to fix a spelling mistake on an iPhone without hitting send considering its the size of my palm lol

So any more then 2 inch and I think u will loose low end torque (and that's y I bought mine idk about u tho) I have heard of guys with wrx's who ran a 3 inch hoping for better spool but once they put there stock exhaust back on it spools up great so In my opinion if u want a catback bigger then stock make your own out of 2 inch pipe or cut the resonator and cat off after the flange and weld up some more 1 and 7/8 pipe

The obvious solution would be to use a computer rather than a phone.

Honestly teamjello if u don't car about speed only te sound of a 3" exhaust get and 06 sti cat back it will fit that Is if u want just the catback bc mid pipes and headers ect... will not fit bc of the differant front subframe (but most 3" catbacks will be a good bit closer to the ground to)

Just about any catback exhaust made for a wrx/sti will fit an n/a 2.5i, with a little modifications. You should be able to take the aftermarket catback to an exhaust shop and they will make it fit for a small fee. I paid about $50 to have my catback extended 2", flange rotated and installed.

I've got a 2009 cat back wrx exhaust on my 09 2.5i, however, tomorrow I am going to buy a quad tip 2010 STI catback. I hope it fits up with out too much struggle. Anyone ever try this?

Why not just have a reputable exhaust shop build you one. it would be built to your car and fit perfectly

With a population of 14 or so I'm not sure there will be an exhaust shop?
