I'm sorry but whether you joined the Marine Corps or in this case the Army , you better believe at some point your going to get deployed to a war zone(specially in this day and age). I'm sorry and this may ruffle some feather and that's fine but I don't buy the C.O. status bull****, it's a cop-out for guys that want all the training with no personnel expense or more importantly the personnel risk! I feel these individuals are cowards and as stated earlier they would get a better man killed. Again this is my opinion of it , few will agree most probably won't and that's ok but I was afforded the right to voice it by the individual's that fought and in many cases died for our rights and our freedoms.

How would you go about pulling someone over? Granted I usually don't drive like an ass, especially on base, but in absolutely no situation would I ever pull over for a non-law enforcement officer.

You can do a citizens arrest never done one, but for sure I would get the plates and report it to SF on base. Also would try to get in front an stop them that way as long as its not going to cause a risk to the person or to myself and wait for SF. There's no reason to drive like an idiot on base, especially in a School Zone!

trying to do a citizen's arrest is likely to get you shot at in this town. I know if someone was trying to pull me over and they were not the cop... good luck. I don't have a gun but I'm not pulling over.

I've advised my wife to not pull over for anything that she isnt sure is a cop. She is to keep driving to a well lit and busy parking lot and call dispatch to confirm. I may not always carry a gun, but I have many knife like and blunt objects within arms reach.

The best way to do a citizens arrest is to actually not try and arrest or apprehend anyone. You'd fare far better serving as a good witness to law enforcement. Far less liability and no gunshot wounds.

There could be situations where you might actually detain someone until LEOs arrive. One I can think of is you witness someone breaking into yours and other neighbors vehicles. You'd be within your right to apprehend and detain him, even at gunpoint. The element of surprise is priceless. It wasn't me but lets just say, I saw it unfold.

Another type of citizens arrest would be witnessing a serious traffic infraction. You could make a REDDI call and if/when the LEOs pull over that vehicle, if you return to the scene where the LEOs are detaining the driver, you could explain the situation and actually sign the citation as the arresting official. But, be prepared to go to court if the citation is challenged. I signed one on the Seward Hwy near Granite Creek with the Troopers. But others I let off the hook -- I just ask the LEO to chew their ass out and detain them a little extra for good measure. Most LEOs are quite willing to oblige.

There used to be an older but better looking design that was made here locally. As far as I know only 2 are left and I have 1 of those 2 brand new.

Selling them again is a pain and would require vendor status, as well as approval from Nick (Nasioc owner) so that it wouldn't infringe on his license.

I think I might have one of those. mine is Red. SLDWYS would know more if it's the "older" local style or not.

The better one he was mentioning is the AK outline one I think and we have the master file for that.

What was the one before that? Because I don't even remember after so many years.

lol.

Yea looked into bringing them back up for sale but just so many things to go through.

It would have to go through a NASIOC Vendor.

Need to find someone to scan and make the cut outs.

Would need to get authorization from Nick again because it's copyright protected. Whether or not he will since there is a global vendor for it is the major thing.

Maybe I could PM the Underground Graphics folks and see if something can be worked out on a new design.
