Default deleting TGVs and I/M Readiness status

I was wondering, when a TGV delete is done does it affect the i/m readiness status if the CEL is deleted via open source?? Do they affect any thing as far as fuel trims go??

in time i want around 300 whp out of my 02 wrx and want it to be a reliable daily driver so im very curious about tuning and doing it properly.

They don't effect fueling at all and you can set a switch to force pass readiness and never worry about that again.

They do affect cold start fueling. I richened up my cold start mixture to match the TGVless JDM WRX's.

where did you do this? I have an 02 and can't find anything that remotely "looks" like a cold start up fueling parameter. maybe the 02's don;t have it defined yet.

I believe it's "Primary Open Loop Fueling Compensation (Coolant Temp)"

If you can do it yourself it's a free ~10hp mod. Obviously the more power you make the more power you'll get from this mod. They aren't going to be a "restriction" at the 300hp level but will make your goal easier to reach with less boost pressure.
