Default Replacement cam gear bolts?

Hi, yes, I have an 02 wrx. Stripped 2 cam gear 10mm hex heads. Got them out be welding axle nut bolts. Now, I do not want to put ANY of them back in. Has anyone successfully substituted back to the older regular head type bolts?

I do not want to use these $6 bolts ever again! , as I am planning on keeping this wrx for another 100k..
It seems like it would work fine...
Any input or links? I tried, but only got repair/ extraction methods..

I feel like I've heard of or seen older bolts being used but am not completely sure. Or you could use these Turn in Concepts bolts:

Right on Jamal! That's all I needed to see. I'm hoping I can find something close at my local fastenall later today.
