spotter cars are still police officers. they can tell a marked patrol car to pull you over b/c by law the unmarked car cant pull you over. It is still a police officer that spots you breaking the law.

LMAO!

Hoffle maybe you should get a Ka Band Police Scanner... I have one and so far, *knock on wood* I haven't been pulled over yet. It's paid for itself plenty of times already.

Just have to figure out how to turn off X band on it so I don't get a false alarm.

^^does not make sense as far as court goes

attny: "officer exactly how many car lengths was the defndt following too close by in rush hour traffic?"
officer: "i dont know, it was one of our spotter vehs, he called it in to me"
attny: "where is the spotter"
officer: "he is not required to be here.
attny: "how are suppose to question the officer tht called in 5 of the 6 tickets?
officer: "i dont know i just work here."

are citizens just suppose to take it for granted tht police officer says your doing something wrong?

plz explain how this is possible

Makes me look forward to my impending move to Houston. Plus, I'll be using 59 all the time, since my place is in midtown.

Lawyer-up. I have a feeling you'll hear more stories like this as cops find their own living expenses go up.

When I went to Houston, I assume H-Town is Houston, EVERYONE THERE WAS SUCH A BAD DRIVER, it was like constant rush hour, noone letting anyone in and everyone riding eachothers ass, people were either speeding or crawling, no matter what, and noone letting anyone over, its the most aggressive driving I have experienced in heavy traffic ever...and there was no need for any of it, if everyone there drove sensibly there, there wouldn't be a need for this sting op stuff they are doing.

well,
called sprecher's office
lady answered and without me saying a word said:
"let me guess, speeding, following too close, and lane change, correct?"

advsd tht part of mayor's 'aggressive driving crack down', and the city makes income.

probally will be in court for next 3yrs.

i dont know, maybe too dangerous to drive the subie anymore.

So you cannot change lanes anymore? And how close is too close anyway? I understand what tailgating is, but what is too close?
