Thumbs up CO, WA, OR Legal activities. DC can haz and not get arrested.

Northwest OTters (you know exactly whom I'm talking about),

When and where can I waltz into a store and purchase some Marijuana?

I know they had a year to settle the matter, but we must be getting close.

I've actually never purchased weed before, so Im looking forward to picking it up at a legal store and then just walking out.

Go to downtown seattle and look for a dude by the bus stop, that are smoking weed, and ask them. This way, you'll save on tax.

seriously.

It's legal now, you just can't legally buy it.

I like the fact that if this thread had been started by anyone but an OG it would have been flamed to oblivion by now

Im only really friendly with NW OTters, plus Im not looking for someone to sling to me, Im trying to preserve my legal weed virginity.

PS Alcohol is BY FAR my favorite drug, but the novelty of purchasing is what I was looking for.

I thought part of the bill getting passed was that they had a year to figure all of that out which means they are about out of time to get those law/regulations finalized.

I had someone try and barter with weed once when I was trying to sell an Xbox on Craigslist. He was trying to use fancy code words like, "bountiful harvest."

Man, I want a receipt.

People here have gotten brave running ads on Craigslist for weed delivery.

A girl in my office has texted two of them and had a guy show up both times.

I keep telling her that is stupid and dangerous. She could get robbed or arrested. It's not like it's hard to get here.

Finalizing the laws and regulations is completely different from actually opening stores, they are limited by different things.

I bet at least one of the four will go in to Roslyn, if it can get past the Bellevue transplant fuddy duddies. Roslyn is a long time hippie central.
