Jim Clark segment was definitely the best part. I also liked the Lambo frankenSUV. That thing looked fantastic and drove quite well for something that heavy.

The A110 piece was predictable, but still good.

It was pretty obvious from the setup that he loved it and bought one.

Should maybe be be in the unpopular opinions thread? Or the Top Gear thread?

But The Grand Tour is simply not good. It's like a bad parody of Top Gear US...But with an infinitely bigger budget, making it pretty at least.

New series of BBC Top Gear was pretty good!

Umm.....I still like it. It's not as good as Top Gear....but the trio is the draw for me.

Bingo

Top Gear had a lot of seasons. Some episodes were good, some great, others ok. GT is no different, we just have 2 shorter seasons and a few episodes to judge so far.

I did notice the F UQ plates, but I am pretty sure that is coincidental.

On a related note, how the **** does China manufacture so many cars and yet, it allows only 3 registrations for every 1000 applications?
Even if huge number of the manufactured cars are meant for export, what do they do with the other millions of cars left for the Chinese market?

Like a lot of European countries, Chinese license plates use a state or province designation letter at the beginning, for where the vehicle is registered.

Chongqing
The initial character on licence plates issued in Chongqing is:

F — Wanzhou District, Liangping County, Chengkou County, Wushan County, Wuxi County, Zhong County, Kaizhou District, Fengjie County, Yunyang County

Scripted? This is one of the dumbest comments that keeps popping up. Of course it is scripted. It's not America's Funniest Videos with Bob Saget.
He sounds like one of those middle aged housewives that prefaces their statement after watching a comedian make a joke with "I have a great sense of humor, BUT..."
